what kind of dog would be a cute baby and grow up to be a kind of small dog that can stay outside?
because everybody on here say yorkies won't be able to stay outside

No dog will like being left outside. If left to their own devices any breed will get bored and get into mischief, things like chewing, digging, barking etc. Most small breeds do love to bark.
Beagles are hunting dogs and will dig.
Poodles like to yap.
Maltese ..ummm They are considered the worst breed from dumpage rates studies in Australia.
All dogs require training and human interation on a regular basis to become the loving family pet many seek. Unless you can give your dog more than just a big back yard you are really doing any breed an injustice. Have a think about why you want a dog first before you research your desired breed.

- Don't get a dog. Why say that you want to save a life when your plan is to eventually abuse it. Dogs are pack animals and need to be with their family (whomever that may be) every day and with lots of interaction. Being left alone in the yard all the time is a solitary and miserable life. Dogs are a big responsibility and very time consuming, but you have to love them and love giving them what they need in order to be a responsible and proper dog owner. You should reconsider. It doesn't sound like you are suited to being a dog owner. The dog's best interest has to be the primary consideration.0% 0 Votes
- Bassett Hounds are SUPER cute pups, they grow to a medium-ish size but are on short legs so they seem like small dogs. Pomeranians have TONS of fur, so they might do well outside, but I don't know for sure on that breed. Best bet though is generally going to be a bigger dog. Sorry dear.0% 0 Votes
