(Nov. 20) -- President-elect Barack Obama wants Arizona Gov. Janet Napolitano to serve as his secretary of homeland security, according to reports in several media outlets.

Politico.com cites her law-and-order experience when she served as her state's first female attorney general as one factor that made her attractive for the job. CNN.com says that the final decision depends on the vetting of the governor.
Meanwhile, former Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle is the choice to head up the Department of Health and Human Services. The selection's been confirmed by sources, but not yet announced. And Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, D-N.Y., remains the top contender for the post of secretary of state, according to sources.

And we voted for Obama because we have had enough of ignorance and fear based politics running our country and wanted someone smart who was hopeful.
