Dollar mixed, gold falls in morning trading

LONDON (AP) - The U.S. dollar was mixed against other major currencies in European trading Thursday morning. Gold fell.

The euro traded at $1.3579, down from $1.3614 late Wednesday in New York.

Other dollar rates:

91.67 Japanese yen, down from 93.02

1.1009 Swiss francs, down from 1.1026

1.2049 Canadian dollars, up from 1.1966

      WHY SHOULD A COUPLE THAT ARE ON SOCIAL SECURITY AND RECEIVING SS CHECKS BE PENALIZED WHEN THEY GET MARRIED. DOESNT MAKE ANY SCENSE BUT YET THE FEDS CAN GIVE MONEY TO AIG AND THE AUTO INDUSTRY.

      WHY DOES IT TAKE 90 (NINETY ) DAYS TO REPLACE A BANK CHECK THAT WAS LOST IN THE MAIL. OH YES, THE MORON SENT IT REGULAR MAIL, ALL INVOLVED BANKS AND PEOPLE ARE AWARE THAT IF IT DOES SHOW UP, IT WILL NOT BE CASHED.
